Little Kicks kids play some festive football There was festive football fun in Bridge of Allan and Dunblane this week as Little Kicks held their Christmas classes. The children have been having so much fun with Santa and Frosty the Snowman. A surprise lay in store for the boys and girls at their recent Little Kicks classes. A new addition was to be found – Santa and his friend Frosty the Snowman. Much to the delight of the children Santa and Frosty joined in the classes, acting as obstacles to dribble around before the children delivered presents to the various towns and villages around the area. The best part however was when Santa and Frosty took a turn in goals to try and save the shots from the children. They managed to save some shots but as always the skills of the boys and girls were too good and they scored more than were saved. Spokesman Andrew Henderson said: “The games for the last two weeks of this block have a festive theme with reindeers, elves, and various toys all helping in our games. It has been very rewarding watching the children’s reactions, from the two year olds wanting to give Santa a cuddle and a kiss to the six year olds who were fascinated that Santa bounces back up when the ball hits him.” They are also offering a free taster class for children to give them a taste of the sport.
