Some Kind Words

Although we don’t think it’s right and proper to use this page as a shameless opportunity to blow our own trumpet, if other people will insist on bombarding us with nice comments (which they have from day 1) it seems only right and proper to circulate their kind words to a wider yet equally appreciative audience.

On a slightly more serious note, aside from giving our team yet another good reason to glow with pride, we think honest third party anecdotal is the best way to reassure you that Little Kicks provides the perfect kick-start for any energy-packed pre-schooler.

"He loved Little Kickers and can't wait for Saturday to come again so he can wear his kit and come back, mind you getting him to take his football kit off now is a nightmare!!!

"Can I also say from my point of view that I found the class very well organised and the two coaches were fantastic with the kids. Coming from running my own dance school where we take kids from 2 yrs old I understand how difficult it can be to keep their attention and to also keep them calm. Charlie was made to feel very welcome and I thought it was great that both coaches ( I apologise as their names escape me) came over and spoke to Charlie, not me or my husband but got down and spoke to Charlie himself making him feel very at ease. This is the first big thing he is doing away from us so he was a little nervous about it, but I am over the moon that he liked it and wants to come back. My husband was also impressed with the class, as a qualified ref himself he also understands how difficult it can be. It was great to see them starting to learn some proper skills.

"Just to say thank you for the great summer course run at St Michaels. Ben had a brilliant time. He's joined a 'big boy' football team... he's now with Byron Red Star at Raphaels' Park. His Little Kicks training has paid off, he was put with Year One boys (a year older), and he was totally at home, able to understand what was asked of him, and the skills and concentration he learnt at LK meant that the coach was very complimentary to us after his first session. Many thanks to Steve and Bonghani... they were both brilliant with the boys. I was totally amazed that anyone could get so many little boys to sit still whilst holding footballs! They are seem to totally hero-worship them, and now Ben wants a 'footballer hat' like Steve's!"

Alfie started a little shaky and not wanting to join in as he had never been involved in something like this before, but gradually your excellent trainers (who are just great with the kids) have managed to get him involved and trying everything. This is what we both wanted him to do as it teaches him much needed social skills and how to join in and play. Thank you!

Unfortunately I have to give notice for lessons because we are moving back to the Netherlands. Leon will miss his classes dearly and, who knows, we may have contact in the future if there are no good toddler / under fives football options in Holland. Thanks for giving Leon the opportunity to practice his football skills and thanks for bringing a smile on my face every time the kids chase coach, it's the highlight of my week.
